Milena Tecle is a compassionate and collaborative mental health therapist with an Associate License in Social Work (LCSWA) and both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Since 2023, Milena has provided therapy for individuals ages 6 to 70, drawing from prior experience working with veterans and within the juvenile justice system.
Milena specializes in supporting clients managing ADHD, depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and PTSD, while welcoming individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Her approach to therapy is person-centered, strengths-based, and collaborative. She emphasizes creating a natural and comfortable space where clients feel safe to express themselves, learn, and grow. Milena is passionate about building meaningful therapeutic relationships and tailoring treatment plans that honor clients’ comfort while gently challenging them toward their goals. She works closely with clients to identify their unique needs, preferences, and strengths, ensuring interventions are both effective and empowering.
Outside of her professional work, Milena enjoys trying new foods and exploring unfamiliar locations, always seeking new experiences that broaden her perspective.
